In June, East Denver Vineyard helped host and participated in a new VineyardUSA partnership with A Rocha USA in June. Their intergenerational launch team will help strengthen their church’s theology of creation across ages and stages of faith, as well as design and execute several initiatives to help us embody climate change mindfulness, growing in our vocation as more thoughtful stewards of God’s resources, and addressing the sin of consumerism.
Two meaningful steps they’ve taken: using and washing ceramic cups during our summer “Unplugged” season, as well as creating our own recycling bin (Denver does not offer a free city-wide recycling option for businesses, churches, or organizations).
