In the summer, we gather a group of 12-16 invited HUB network participants in New York City over four days. This is a time for deepening relationships, experiencing renewal, and building capacity. The name of this event has evolved from “intensive” to “gathering” and finally, by a participants’ suggestion, to “camp,” indicating the nature of how we have enjoyed each other and the city together. We piloted our first “summer camp” in June 2023, and the same participants returned for a second round in June 2024 to continue the work we had begun together. Going forward, we anticipate “summer camp” to be for the same group to meet over two summers.
